On the Princeton Tigers Football posting by Jay Greenberg under the headline In a Game Worth the Wait, Patience Will Prevail, Princeton coach Bob Surace is quoted saying of Dartmouth:“I can’t recall any team better in eight years. And we have played playoff teams.”More from the posting, which offers a detailed analysis of the Big Green:
Considering how remarkably healthy both these teams remain in Week Eight, as dominant as these defenses have been, the game certainly doesn’t figure to be 54-44 this time. But all due respect for what Dartmouth has earned, it hasn’t faced a choose-your-poison combination of playmakers like John Lovett, Charlie Volker, Carlson and Horsted.

Town Topics, the Princeton weekly newspaper, does a nice job covering the Princeton football team and its look back at the Tigers' 66-0 win over Cornell last week included this (LINK):Wearing a splint on his left arm, (Princeton quarterback John) Lovett played through pain in his second game back after sitting out the Brown game on October 13.
“Injuries are part of the game, I am not going to let that keep me out,” said Lovett.
Having been out all of the 2017 season due to injury, Lovett is savoring his return to the field this fall.
“It is incredible; I love this game more than anything,” said Lovett, the Ivy league Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 who has rushed for 608 yards and eight touchdown and passed for 1,272 yards and 14 touchdowns this fall. “It is my passion to be back here with my team. It feels great. I am excited to be out on the field and do the best I can to help us.”
