Got It

A Green Bay Press Gazette story about local football standout Nick Howard includes this:
The Green Bay Southwest quarterback has been part of an interesting recruiting tale the past few months, which might finally have ended with his announcement that he will play for Dartmouth College, the prestigious Ivy League school in Hanover, N.H.
The story notes that the chance to play quarterback at Dartmouth – while other schools were looking at him as a linebacker – had a role in Howard's decision. Find the full story HERE.
The Florida-Times Union has a story that includes this near the top:
If you’re basking in the glow of a successful season for your team and have cheered enthusiastically for your team’s best players, consider some other heroes in college football this season.
One of the heroes it includes a brief look at? Dartmouth defensive lineman Seth Simmer, who overcame a serious health issue to return to the field this fall.
Earlier this week a Wall Street Journal headline asked:
Would You Watch Football Without All the Violence?
The story is behind a paywall, but here's the money quote from Dartmouth coach Buddy Teevens:
“My sense is that unless people start gradually changing, there may not be a game in 25 years from now.”
A little Googling brought up the nonconference schedule for Ivy League teams next fall. If you can help with the three TBA's, drop me an email and I'll repost. (The guess here is a Lehigh or a Lafayette  is going to show up on one or two of those schedules but even working backward I couldn't nail that down.)
