If the name is familiar it might be because his father, Jay '89, earned two letters as a linebacker for the Big Green under Buddy Teevens.
As a senior in 1988 the elder Swett finished fourth on the team with 60 tackles and led the squad with 10 tackles for loss, including five sacks. He also had an interception.
Jay Swett, who graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine and did his internship and residency at the University of Michigan Health System, is now a surgeon in Exeter.
