As dynamic a football player as Erie has ever had, Roper led the state in rushing touchdowns (37) and total points (224) in addition to leading all big-school tailbacks with 2,229 rushing yards. The CSU-Pueblo pledge finished his high school career with 6,339 rushing yards and 83 touchdowns. He has a 4.2 GPA and his involvement in student government as well as the school’s “21 Club” for leadership development stood out.Roper is the 20th member of the class identified to date.
