Here's a heartfelt note of thanks from the Evans family for your much-appreciated outpouring of support following a recent breakthrough by Ernest as detailed in an earlier post HERE.
Former corner Chai Reece '15, who began the GoFundMe, deserves the real credit for the campaign that has helped relieve some of the burden on the Evans. He has this addendum:I want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude shown to Erno (Ernest II) as well as our family on behalf of the Dartmouth family.Despite into the 20th month of this miraculous recovery, we have felt the Dartmouth support from Day One. It started with a barrage of phone calls even when we were unsure if Erno was going to make it! You were there! Once he made it out of ICU, your visits and Dartmouth support was there! Once we made it back to Texas in August of 2017, many of his colleagues came to visit with much love ❤️ and donations.Once we made it into 2018, the Dartmouth family has been there with phone calls, visits and donations. If we were in question about the type of people Erno hung around, you all have answered the bell at every turn! It has been an emotional moment as I continue to see your hearts and actions that show how much you all love on Erno as well as our family. As we saw Erno go from the brink of death to last week writing for the first time, we see why he wrote “big green” after his therapist did not know what he was saying! We explained to the therapist what they did not understand and why Erno and our family BLEED GREEN !! We are forever indebted to you all in our Dartmouth family for everything !!!❤️❤️ Thanks for any and all forms of support as well as the gofundme donations for the last 20 months!! A special thanks to Murray Bowden, Chai Reece & Bruce Wood on spearheading various financial donation drives! It has been really timely during this challenging time! There is more good news from Erno on the way BIG GREEN NATION!!! Love u all from the Evanses!! ❤️❤️ Keep up the prayers!! ๐๐พ๐๐พ
I’d like to thank everyone who has played any role in Ernest’s recovery, even if simply sending positive vibes his way through thought. I believe all the contributions have played a significant role in his comeback and look forward to see how he attacks 2019.

Combing through Twitter feeds for players heading to Dartmouth revealed some different heights and weights and a few surprises among the positions listed, including Tyron Herring at quarterback when I had him listed at safety.
Again, all of this is unofficial until the coaches are allowed to speak publicly about the incoming players. (While coaches at schools that recognize the Letter of Intent are free to comment now, Ivy League coaches cannot talk about regular-decision "commits" until admissions go out in the spring and all the paperwork is returned.)
With that proviso, here's a best-guess positional list of incoming players per Twitter. Once again, corrections aren't just appreciated, they are encouraged!

Former Dartmouth quarterback Jack Heneghan '17 opens play with the Arizona Hotshots in the new Alliance of American Football Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern. The game from Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe will be carried on the NFL Network. Here's a blurb from the team website:
Heneghan was the last QB left on the roster before the scrimmage, and after he led a scoring drive in the scrimmage got a roster spot. He also led a scoring drive for the San Francisco 49ers in a preseason game last summer.
Neuheisel said Tuesday that he expects all three -- Wolford, Knight and Heneghan -- to play over the course of the season.
