Reggie Williams, who played football at Dartmouth from 1973-75, delivers a passionate speech during the 2007 College Football Hall of Fame inductions, articulating his love for the game and answering the question: "Is it worth it?" with a resounding "yes" even after more than a dozen knee operations. He concludes by reciting Invictus by William Ernest Henley, "I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul." After Dartmouth, Williams played 14 years in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals, including being named the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 1986.
