Waiting to meet someone in the football office not all that long ago I spent a little time looking at the historic displays and this caught my eye. The attached description reads:
Hand-written notebook of halfback Andrew (Swede) Oberlander '26 with signals and plays used by Dartmouth during the 1925 undefeated season. An All-America selection, Oberlander declined a $25,000 offer to play pro football in order to pursue a career in medicine.He would indeed receiver his MD from the Yale School of Medicine.
