Thursday Stuff

The Ivy League preseason media poll will be released today at 10 a.m.-ish.
A look at progress on Dartmouth's new indoor practice facility from the program's Instagram account:

Dartmouth uniform numbers have been updated on the official web page and there's one big surprise.

Derek Kyler, who placed third nationally in passing efficiency last year, has switched from No. 15 to No. 12.

Jake Guidone, in a nod to his move from tackle to tight end, will wear 89 this fall instead of 72.

Defensive tackle Luca Di Leo will wear graduated brother Rocco's 92 after spending his freshman year at 73.

Speaking of brothers, offensive lineman John Paul Flores will continue to wear 64 and will have freshman offensive lineman and younger brother Michael right after him at 65.

Among other changes, tailback Zach Bair goes from 34 to 22, running back/receiver Ethan Maenza from 32 to 8 and defensive lineman Mick Reese from 50 to 48.
When the Big Green heads to Jacksonville there will be a Dartmouth grad on the coaching staff across the way. That would be a Dartmouth High School grad. Joining the Dolphins program as a defensive analyst and special teams assistant is Jordan Todman, who went from the Massachusetts high school with the familiar name to the University of Connecticut, where he had two 1,000-yard seasons before spending time on the roster of seven NFL teams between 2011 and 2017. He was the Big East offensive player of the year in 2010 when he ran for 1,695 yards.
