When the subject of the Ivy League not allowing its football teams to go on to the FCS playoffs comes up one explanation you'll hear time and again is that Harvard and Yale won't get behind the idea because The Game is the perfect ending to their seasons. And the Ivy League won't do anything if Harvard and Yale aren't onboard.
Watching the Army-Navy game yesterday I couldn't help but think about the silliness of the Harvard-Yale argument.
