A Note From Coach Teevens

Hello From the Woods,

We are all working our way through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and we hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.

Ernest Evans
Yesterday we received the very difficult news from the family of Ernest Evans, Jr. that he had “received ultimate healing and is with God now.”

Ernest, a 2016 graduate, was one of our own. He suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2017 and had been involved in rehabilitative care ever since.

His loss came unexpectedly, as he was making steady progress in his efforts to regain his unforgettable smile, laugh, wit, athleticism and wonderfully interactive personality. All of us who were touched by “Erno” will always remember the very special way he had with each of us.

The Dartmouth Football Family, those who knew Ernest and those who learned about him, came together to help him in his fight. We will all miss a special teammate and friend but are thankful and appreciative that Erno and his family touched our lives at Dartmouth in such a special way.
