Only three schools in all of NCAA Division I have had their football teams recognized for all 15 years of the study:
Dartmouth
Penn
Yale
It's hardly a secret that BGA has long favored resuming football scheduling against the Patriot League schools, which have more in common academically with the Ivy League than most other conferences. Here's a look at how three conferences the Ivy League schedules most frequently fared for number of football teams receiving Public Recognition Awards in the most recent study:
Patriot League – 4-of-7 (Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette)A total of 1,380 teams across all sports from 326 NCAA Division I schools were honored with Public Recognition Awards based on their most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR). Dartmouth has had seven teams earn the Public Recognition Award for all 15 years it has been awarded. Those teams are:
Pioneer Football League – 2-of-10 (Butler, Dayton)
Northeast Conference – 0-of-8
Dartmouth Teams Recognized:
Football
Men’s Golf
Women’s Basketball
Women’s Lacrosse
Women’s Rowing
Women’s Swimming
Women’s Tennis
Dartmouth had 17 teams earn Public Recognition Awards in the most recent study, tying for the third most at any school. Columbia had the most with 22 with Colgate second with 19. Dartmouth tied with Yale for third.
Green Alert Take: In the interest of full disclosure, Dartmouth is listed on the NCAA website as fielding 37 teams (LINK) while Harvard is listed with 43. Given that a school like Central Connecticut is listed with 16 total teams and Stetson with 17 a comparison based on the raw number of teams honored is a bit unfair.

Isiah Swann, Niko Lalos and former defensive back Vernon Harris '16 get a mention in a curious story on SB Nation’s Behind the Steel Curtain website under the headline, From The Iliad to “The Duke”: How the Ivy League Shapes Football Players for the NFL—and Beyond. (LINK)From the story:
In the entire NFL, there were just 22 Ivy League alums to make a roster entering the 2019 season; only 18 played just one regular season snap a year ago.Green Alert Take: Really? Having just 22 Ivy Leaguers in the NFL sounds pretty good to me.

Princeton, which for years looked askance at Ivy League schools taking transfers, has a quarterback from the transfer portal coming in from Colorado. Blake Stenstrom, a 6-foot-4 pro-style QB, was expected to vie for the starting position in Boulder this year after seeing limited action last fall as a redshirt freshman. Find his Tweet announcing the transfer HERE and his Colorado bio HERE.

From Inside High Ed (LINK):The California Collegiate Athletic Association, an NCAA Division II conference comprised of 12 California State University campuses and the University of California, San Diego, has suspended all sports competition for the fall of 2020, the association said. The announcement follows earlier news that the Cal State system is using a "virtual planning approach" for the fall semester.Cal Poly and Sacramento State are California State University campuses. No word yet on what that means for their football programs but that Cal Poly will have no in-person classes was reported HERE and Sac State HERE. The Mustangs are scheduled to play Cal this fall. Sac State is scheduled to play Arizona State.
Closer to home, Montreal's McGill University is also going online for fall classes. (LINK)

EXTRA POINTA small front-end loader arrived on our property a few minutes ago and is starting to dig. No, we're not putting on an addition and it's not a swimming pool or a tennis court ;-)
Any guesses? Check in tomorrow to learn more.
