Chart, Part 3

Following up on the offense and defensive chart from earlier this week, today we look at the Dartmouth specialists for 2022. Once again, this is drawn from last year's roster/final depth chart. The only freshman listed is at longsnapper where Sean Ward has reported experience.

As always, corrections are welcomed. (Click graphic to enlarge.)

The Dartmouth football page includes schedules for 2023 and 2024 but that's as far as it goes. Thanks to the FBSchedules site, we now know the Big Green has added a game at Towson in 2029. From the story (LINK):

Although it was not explicitly stated, the Towson-Dartmouth contest in 2029 is likely a rescheduled game. Towson was previously scheduled to host Dartmouth on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, but the game was not played due to the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The Ivy League canceled their entire 2020 season due to the virus, while Towson opted out of playing during the spring of 2021.

Green Alert Take: The rescheduled game is more than "likely" a result of COVID. It's the second half of a home-and-home that saw Dartmouth defeat Towson, 20-17 on Oct. 15, 2016.

Flo Orimolade '17 and the Calgary Stampeders improved to 4-0 with a 49-6 thrashing of the Edmonton Elks last night. Orimolade contributed two tackles and a forced fumble from his defensive line position.

HERO Sports has a list of what it calls the top 25 returning wide receivers in the nation and one Ivy Leaguer makes the cut. Princeton's Andrei Iosivas comes in at No. 7. (LINK)

Green Alert Take: I'll admit that after HERO named Dartmouth's Paxton Scott as the best player in the nation who wears (wore ;-) No. 86 I wondered if he would make this list. He did not. In case you are wondering, Iosivas had 41 catches for 703 yards and five touchdowns while Scott had 47 catches for 512 yards and four touchdowns. The most significant difference, obviously, was in yards-per-catch where Iosivas averaged 17.1 and Scott 10.9.

EXTRA POINT
Listening to an episode of the Off Leash podcast while I mowed our field yesterday I was amused to find out just how poorly people fare when they are asked to guess the, uh, heritage of their mixed-breed dogs. (Listen HERE).

Interestingly, the podcast mentions one person who had a black and white Border Collie that, when they did a DNA test, has absolutely no Border Collie in it. None.

Griff the Wonder Dog? He's 100 percent Golden Retriever ;-)
