Columbia 23, Penn 17
The surprising Lions (4-1, 2-0 Ivy) under the leadership of first-year coach Jon Poppe, held serve to set up a showdown with Dartmouth for the Ivy League lead by beating Penn (2-3, 0-2) on Franklin Field for the first time since 1996. Chase Goodwin had 334 yards and two touchdowns through the air for Columbia, which got 137 receiving yards from Bryson Canty. The game drew 2,970.
Harvard 35, Holy Cross 34
In a game that made Dartmouth's win look like a cakewalk, the Crimson scored the go-ahead touchdown with 45 seconds left only to see Holy Cross drive 64 yards for a touchdown with time expired. The Crusaders then went for the win only to see the two-point conversion fail. Harvard, which scored 20 straight points after falling behind 7-0, is now 4-1, 1-0. Holy Cross, which scored 21 straight points later in the game, falls to 3-5. Attendance at Harvard was 6,950.
Yale 38, Lehigh 23
Playing their third game in a row at Yale Bowl, the Bulldogs forced four turnovers – including a 53-yard pick six by Da'Quan Gonzales – and ran for 258 yards while improving to 3-2, 0-2. Lehigh is 3-3 and 0-1 in the Patriot. Attendance in New Haven was 4,107.
Cornell 34, Bucknell 21
Jameson Wang tossed three touchdown passes, Luke Banbury returned an interception 26 yards for a score and the Big Red ran for 191 yards while improving to 2-3, 1-1. Bucknell, which trailed 24-0 early in the second quarter, fell to 3-4, 1-0 in front of 1,245 in Lewisburg.

Princeton 29, Brown 17
Brown ran 32 more plays than Princeton and outgained the Tigers but five turnovers - all in Princeton territory - proved costly. The Bears (2-3, 1-1 Ivy League) fell behind 22-7 at the half and had fought back to 22-17 in the fourth quarter before the potential go-ahead touchdown was sabotaged by a lost fumble at the Princeton 25 with 5:49 remaining. Princeton's John Volker ran for 79 yards and two touchdowns on just four first-quarter carries before leaving because of injury. A crowd of 4,173 saw the Tigers (2-3, 1-1) avoid their first 0-2 Ivy League start since 2010.
Elswhere in the only Saturday game featuring a Dartmouth nonconference opponent, Merrimack (3-4) crushed Stonehill 48-28 with Jermaine Corbett running for 170 of the Warriors' 375 yards on the ground. Fordham had a bye.
