That's former Dartmouth quarterback Jack Heneghan circled in this Alliance of American Football snapshot. (As a journalism school grad who worked in newspapers for many years and these days collects (too few) checks as a freelance writer, I believe it's important to respect copyright laws but figure the Alliance will appreciate whatever publicity it can get, wherever it can get it ;-)
From an Alliance of American Football story about an effort in conjunction with Martin Luther King Day:
“Being together with all of these guys, that made it even more special,” Hotshots quarterback Jack Heneghan said. “It’s great to meet other guys that are playing in the league. For a cause like this, everybody comes together, even if we’re going to be competing once the season starts.”

In addition to Heneghan, his former offensive lineman Jacob Flores is in the league with the Atlanta Legends. The AAF is scheduled to kick off Feb. 9 and 10.

There's a huge sigh of relief going around the Ivy League with the news becoming official that Yale Bowl will replace its muck with FieldTurf before next fall. Find a Yale Daily News story with quotes HERE.
Green Alert Take: What do you think James Perry is thinking in Providence right now?

Bloomberg has a story about the annual Ivy Football Association Dinner HERE. I absolutely love this from the story, which kind of echoes Heneghan's remark above:
“There’s nothing better than enemies pretending to like each other,” said Rob Michalik, a managing director at private-equity firm Kinderhook Industries who played at Yale.•
From the Believe It Or Not Department: Furman started spring practice at 6 yesterday morning. The Paladins will have their "spring" game on Feb. 23. In case you are wondering, the Dartmouth spring game is May 4.

And finally – and I do mean FINALLY – That Certain Dartmouth '14-turned educational ranger with the National Park Service will begin her winter assignment at Grand Canyon on Monday. Although the threat of another shutdown looms, at least she will have moved into park housing and be on the payroll at that point instead of couch surfing and being in limbo as she was over the past month. Hooray!
