Former Dartmouth rowing coach Linda Muri offers a few expert insights into the college recruiting scandal in a Los Angeles Times story under the headline In college scandal, rowing was the ideal sport for stowaways, prosecutors say. Muri, who was at Dartmouth from 2014-17, also coached at Cornell and Harvard. She has a company that offers advice about the recruiting process for high school rowers.
