Dartmouth center Evan Hecimovich has been named to the 60-man preseason All-America team selected by the College Sports Journal heading into his senior season. (LINK)The 6-foot-2, 265-pound Hecimovich, who comes from Lisle, Ill., and Naperville North High School, was an All-Ivy League second-team selection last fall and a Phil Steele third-teamer. (LINK)

Green Alert Take: Working on a story some years ago I spoke to a sports psychologist who said simply by choosing to play the sport football players are by nature risk takers. That they are eager to go this fall should surprise absolutely no one.
