Made good time traveling from the beautiful rolling hills of Iowa into Ohio, home of a major university that shall not be named. After enjoying an incredibly peaceful Tuesday at a county park we spent last night in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel, the popular restaurant chain that has been incredibly welcoming. (We've made it a point to make sure it's OK to spend the night all three times.)
Seriously, the next time you are driving down the highway and see a billboard for the ubiquitous restaurant, take a good look at the lower, right-hand corner of the sign. If that's not a classic VW Vanagon I don't know what it is:
We should be somewhere not far west of State College, Pa. (and that school you may have heard of) today as our trip winds down.
