Craig Haley at The Analyst has a story headlined, After 665 Days Off, Ivy League Football Set For Return. If you've been following along there's nothing surprising in this capsule look at the Dartmouth-Valpo game (LINK):
Heading into this first-time meeting, the Big Green have a 16-game winning streak against non-Ivy opponents since 2014. The offense, led by quarterback Derek Kyler (the program’s all-time most accurate passer at 68.2%), could be ahead of the defense, which in 2019 ranked second in the FCS in scoring average (12.4 points per game), but returns only one starter, strong safety Niko Mermigas.
Here's a graphic that accompanied the story in The Analyst:

This comes a little out of left field. A UConn SB Nation story offering suggestions on how to get the Huskies' offense going concludes with several suggestions for potential head coaches. From the story (LINK):
Kevin Daft, the offensive coordinator at Dartmouth, would be another interesting hire. Dartmouth has been running a hybrid option offense with huge success in recent years. They’ve won the hotly contested Ivy League title twice in the past five years, with a combined 64-25 record over the past decade.

EXTRA POINT
Heading up the road two miles to the trailhead in the dark for my daily hike this morning I was surprised when a white pickup truck pulled out of the driveway of one of the only houses on the hilly dirt road between our house and the trail as I passed by. I was even more surprised when the truck followed me into the stone parking lot and the driver hopped out and started up the trail.
Seriously, what kind of nut goes on a hike before the sun comes up?
