Graduated Dartmouth quarterback Derek Kyler has added Southern Conference member Chattanooga to a list of offers for his final year of eligibility. The Mocs join UMass, New Mexico, Eastern Illinois and Samford in an eclectic list of suitors for the savvy grad transfer QB.

Having not played much for the Big Green, his video is from practice and if you want to see what the coaches see after practice, check it out HERE.

Jake Novak at the Roar Lions blog had a posting about the five-year records for Ivy League teams that includes this (LINK):

Harvard dominated the 2011-2015 period in a way that's probably unmatched in Ivy history.

The Crimson was 31-4 in Ivy League over those five years and that sent me to the record book. Between 1969 and 1973 Dartmouth was a very comparable 30-4-1. The best five-year run, however, belonged to Penn, which was 32-3 from 2000-04.

Overall, Harvard was 45-5 over its five-year run. Dartmouth was 38-6-1 from 1969-73 while Penn was 42-7 between 2000-04.

EXTRA POINT

If you are of a certain age you'll remember when the word "party" was virtually always a noun. When it started to become popular to say things like, "We are going to party late into the night" it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. (I can hear today's kids who have never heard that sound saying, "Huh?")

I saw a TV commercial a few days ago that had me shaking my head. I can't remember the exact wording, but it went something like this:

"Let's holiday right this year."

Cue fingernails on chalkboard.
