Interesting

The story still lists him as a Dartmouth football recruit but maybe the Big Green basketball team could use 6-foot-5, 215-pound Chris Corbo, a tight end from West Essex High School in New Jersey. (Just kidding, sort of ;-)

While he had 32 catches for 452 yards and five touchdowns for a 9-3 football team last fall and drew early recruiting interesting from Pitt, check out what he's done on the hardwood lately. From a story on NJ.com today (LINK):

Chris Corbo erupted for a career-high 34 points to go with 14 rebounds and four assists as West Essex defeated West Caldwell Tech, 82-61, in West Caldwell.

Corbo, a senior committed to play football at Dartmouth, now has 67 points and 34 rebounds over the last two games for West Essex (5-3).

In case you are wondering, the Dartmouth men's basketball team dropped to 1-2 in the Ivy League and 4-10  overall with a 78-68 loss at Penn yesterday. The Big Green plays host to Harvard Monday evening.

Dartmouth is familiar with two of the first three players featured in a story headlined NFL Draft: 2022 Hula Bowl Movers And Shakers on the FanNation site. The story has capsules of Sacred Heart running back Julius Chestnut and Liam Shanahan, the two-year starting center at LSU who played for and graduated from Harvard. (LINK)

This is actually kind of funny. A PRNewswire-PRWeb story announcing a new website for Collectible Ivy spelled the business name wrong. The headline reads, Collectable Ivy Announces the Launch of its New Website. (LINK)

Ah, but as Lee Corso would say, not so fast my friend. Collectible Ivy's web address is www.collectableivy.com. Notice the spelling.

However it is spelled, here's how the business describes itself:

EXTRA POINT
I meant to post this the day of the national championship game between Georgia and Alabama. It's my ticket stub from the Penn State-Alabama championship game in 1979. Check out the price of the ticket:

And be sure to ask me about our, uh, eventful drive from New Orleans back to State College after THIS happened.
