Nothing new to report on this year's transfer portal players, but here are a few mentions about last year's grad transfers.

The UConnblog.com grades the bowl-bound Huskies' offense and here's what it says about the team's offensive line (LINK):
Guidone Offensive Line: A+
The offensive line was the best position group on the team and was the key reason that UConn got to six wins. The offensive line excelled in run blocking, protected (quarterback Zion) Turner reasonably well when they decided to pass, and provided an overall steady platform for the Huskies’ offense to operate on.
Dartmouth transfer Jake Guidone proved the most impactful offseason addition for the Huskies, anchoring the offensive line from the center position.

UMass struggled this fall but grad transfer Jalen Mackie '22 had a big year, leading the Minutemen in tackles by a wide margin. Here the son of two military veterans speaks from the heart about what he learned from them prior to last week's loss to Army:

The odds are in for the FCS quarterfinals and it doesn't matter which Dartmouth connection you are rooting for, the odds will be long.
• Former defensive lineman Seth Simmer and Samford are 16½ point underdogs at North Dakota State.
• Old friend Holy Cross is a 15½ point underdog at South Dakota State Saturday.
• Former Dartmouth quarterback and now William & Mary AD Brian Mann's program may have the best chance of advancing as 7½ point underdogs at Montana State.

Finally got my flu shot yesterday and I'll be honest, I'm feeling it a little. Beats the alternative, don't you think?
