Prime Time?

For what feels like the first time in several weeks there's no portal news to post today. Oops, almost missed this photo of former Dartmouth defensive lineman Shane Cokes with Nick Williams, Colorado's new D-line coach:

Green Alert Take: A quick look can't find the last time two players from the same team actually led the Ivies in tackles, but impressive nonetheless. Of course, that generally means the defense is on the field a lot . . .

EXTRA POINT
For the first time ever we ordered our Christmas cards early. Hooray!

We placed the order on Dec. 6 and the online tracking said we would have them on Dec. 13. All good. Except . . .

Except, Dec. 13 came and no cards. Then Dec. 14 and no cards. Ditto for Dec. 15. What's up?

Online tracking shows the cards departed Bridgeport, NJ on Dec. 7, made their way to Windsor, Conn., on Dec. 8 and arrived in Springfield, Mass. on Dec. 9 where the tracking said, "Shipment received, package acceptance pending."

Now we're being ghosted. No more updates for a full week.

An online chat with someone from the well-known card company we used had no explanation, but did say they would reprint the cards and send a new batch our way on their dime. We haven't yet received tracking information on these cards other than, "estimated delivery date is Dec. 21."

Two thoughts.

First, our cards are going to be late. Again.

And second, I hope these cards don't go by way of Springfield, Mass.
