For the second year in a row, the Buffalo Bulls will have a grad transfer tight end from Dartmouth. Following in the shoes of Robbie Mangas '22 is Zion Carter '23. While he wasn't used much as a receiver, Carter had a breakout season blocking this fall.

And speaking of former players, Dartmouth has four of them practicing for the "Dream Bowl" in Japan: tight end Joe Kramer, offensive linemen Michael Flores and Jake Guidone (at UConn in the fall) and defensive lineman Luca Di Leo. The Ivy League Tweeted out pictures. (Click the picture to work your way through the individual shots.)

In this clip from an ESPN interview with outgoing Cornell Athletic Director Andy Noel he supports beginning the football season earlier, ending it with the champion in the playoffs, and building in a bye week to help with injuries. He says the Ivy League presidents have considered the playoffs but the idea has not gotten “traction.” He says, “For whatever group of reasons our Ivy presidents are not in support of that at the present time.”
Green Alert Take: Because the Ivy League cannot explain and certainly cannot justify why it allows every sport but football to go to the national playoffs those like Noel can only fall back on "whatever group of reasons" as an explanation for the ban.
Until a few years ago the BGA World Headquarters was on the shoulder of Moose Mountain in Etna. Although Etna is part of Hanover, we could not get a pizza delivered. Our Vermont hillside home is 27 miles north of Hanover – up a dirt road in a county that can claim just one stoplight – and we can get a pizza delivered here. Go figure.
