| Former Dartmouth teammates Matt Kaskey '19 of the Chargers and Niko Lalos '20 of the Saints in a screen grab from last night's game shared by a BGA reader. It's hard for an offensive lineman like Matt Kaskey to end up in the highlights but not so for a defensive end when he has the kind of game Niko Lalos had last night against Kaskey and the Chargers. Here's what the Saints Wire had to say (LINK):
Watch his sacks and batted pass here:
Find a brief story about Lalos HERE. Earlier in the day the Saints organization issued this Niko Lalos honoring @DartmouthFTBL’s Buddy Teevens ❤️ pic.twitter.com/pemRxbQJjd |
Here's a still shot from that posting:
Here's a shot I took at yesterday's practice as two of the big freshmen cooled off in different ways:
This single, tiny connector can carry power, video, audio, and data between electronic gadgets—simultaneously. It can replace a laptop’s power cord, USB jacks, video output jack, and headphone jack. The connector is symmetrical, so you can’t insert it upside-down. It’s identical end for end, too, so it doesn’t matter which end you grab first. USB-C has the potential to charge your gadget faster and transfer data faster than what’s come before, too. And the brand doesn’t matter. My Samsung USB-C cable can charge your Apple MacBook and his Surface tablet. The only question left: Where did it come from? Who invented it? And why?
I've listened to every episode of Unsung Science and heartily recommend it. Listen to The Power of an Empty Metal Box and learn about how the shipping containers you see on trains and the highway came about and oh by the way, helped China become a super power. The Million-Dollar Toothpaste Tube explains how those things became recyclable and why that's so important. I made sure Mrs. BGA listened to What if Placebos ARE the Medicine? Hint: Some are. How about, NASA Redirects an Asteroid and How the Fitbit Knows You’re Dreaming? Even if you aren't a science person – which I'm not – Unsung Science is a great listen.
