The Summerville (S.C.) Journal Scene has a story about incoming Dartmouth quarterback Jaden Cummings being named the Best of Prep Sports Football Player of the Year. From the story:
Cummings is a three-time all-region selection, two-time all-state selection and two-time all-lowcountry selection who has signed to play for the Dartmouth College football program. As a senior he was a team captain, played in the 2024 Touchstone Energy Cooperatives North-South Football Game, was named 5A Region 8 Player of the Year and was a finalist for the prestigious Bridge Builder Excellence Award.

EXTRA POINT
Yesterday’s hike brought another sign of spring – the first eastern newt I’ve seen this year. This red eft will turn greenish, and after 2-3 years will move into the water, where the Google Machine says it could live up to 8-10 years.
