EXTRA POINT
We made the long drive down to the Princeton area yesterday so we could head into New York City today to celebrate our niece, who just completed her Psy.D. It was a pleasant surprise that on a rainy Friday of a three-day weekend we had surprisingly few delays on the road, despite getting to the metropolitan area around rush hour. We saw ugly tie-ups going in the other direction and kept wondering when we would get locked in a complete standstill, but apart from a few slow-downs, it never happened. Fingers crossed for our return on Monday.
