That Certain Nittany Lion ’16 often rues that so many legendary accomplishments in the world of sports took place before he was born. That’s one of the reasons why I encouraged him not to switch away from yesterday’s French Open final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Sean Gregory, the former Princeton basketball player who now writes for Time magazine, called the match “one of the best duels in the history of tennis,” and he’s not wrong.
