Probably should have posted this after the NCAA Settlement was approved last month.
The Ivy League, as you probably know, has opted out of the settlement. Here is where schools Dartmouth football has faced in recent years or is likely to face in the near future stand on the issue (LINK):
OPTING IN
New Hampshire
Fordham
Georgetown
Merrimack
Sacred Heart
Towson
OPTING OUT
Bucknell
Colgate
Holy Cross
Lafayette
Lehigh
Central Connecticut
Basketball, clearly, is the defining factor for Georgetown and likely Fordham, which could make for interesting days ahead given the rest of the Patriot League opted out. Hoops probably also plays into decision by most of the Pioneer Football League schools to opt in.

EXTRA POINT
That Certain Dartmouth '14 was here for a few days on furlough from her position at Bryce Canyon National Park and the unusually hot temperature during her visit got to her. Daytime temperatures at Bryce may be higher than they are here – even where she lives at 8,000-plus feet of elevation – but she's acclimated to the low humidity that makes high temps less uncomfortable in the mountain west.
Unfortunately for TCD'14, she came home a week too early. The overnight temperature here on our Vermont hillside last night was 45.6 degrees (and it's not expected to get much above 70 today).
Given the chilly temperature here last night, when the moisture released by the Connecticut River met the cool air it created dense fog that was trapped in the valley below until the sun burned it off. The fog is gone now, but here's the view outside the BGA World Headquarters windows this morning was crisp and clear:
