That's A Wrap

Still waiting (and hoping) for highlights from the broadcast that show full plays. In the meantime . . .

The Dartmouth school newspaper has a recap of Saturday's game HERE

The Daily Princetonian, which was not at the game, has a story HERE.

#

BGA Overtime's game story can be found HERE, and Sunday's follow is HERE. On tap tonight is a column with a few reflections on the game and season. And the two antagonists you either love or hate will be up to their old tricks tomorrow evening.

Dartmouth won the Ivy League women's soccer tournament to earn conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Find a story in The Dartmouth HERE. (One clarification: The Ivy League championship is determined in the regular season, which was won by Princeton. The Big Green is the Ivy League tournament champion.)

This morning's email brought a message from YouTube TV about how to apply a $20 rebate to the bill because as our TV provider the service has taken down all of the ESPN networks because of its dispute with Disney.

Here's my question for ESPN: Are you going to refund my ESPN+ fee as a result of shutting down my access because my provider is YouTube TV? Seems only right.

EXTRA POINT

Watched a little TV yesterday and found myself wondering if I'm on an island as the only one who is annoyed when great songs like Fleetwood Mac's Landslide are used to sell automobiles. I suppose whoever owns rights to the song can use it how they like, but it just feels like it cheapens the music.

With that being said, I feel a little sheepish admitting I kind of like the Amazon commercial with the elderly women sledding down a hill accompanied by an instrumental cover of the Beatles' song, In My Life. Watch it HERE.
