Ivies and Graduation in New NCAA Report
4:15 p.m. From the Ivy League web site: "Today the NCAA released its Academic Progress Rates (APR) and the Ivy League stands atop the measurements. Twenty-nine of the League's 33 championship sports were rated: 17 of those had the nation's top progress rate and seven Ivy rankings were second nationally. The APR measures semester-by-semester progress toward graduation of every individual team in Division I." To read the Ivy League release click here. To see the NCAA's APR release, click here. Dartmouth's numbers can be found here. Of particular note is this list of schools that earned the NCAA's Public Recognition label. Dartmouth is one of six Ivy schools mentioned for football. Missing from the list: Columbia and Penn.
