The Big Green held its previously unannounced intrasquad scrimmage today with the focus of those who showed up squarely on the quarterback battle between junior Tom Bennewitz and senior Mike Fritz.
The quarterback who had the best afternoon, however, was someone else. And he didn't take a snap.
Compiled statistics and a story will be on the main Green Alert site tonight, although probably a little later than the usual 9 p.m., deadline because there's a lot to sort through.
NOTE I was asked by a subscriber if the on-line radio broadcasts of Dartmouth football would move to the school's new subscription service. The answer is no. The streaming audio will be accessible for free, the same as years past.
