Sept. 7 Scrimmage
HANOVER -- The Big Green held its previously unannounced intrasquad scrimmage Thursday with the focus for those who showed up squarely on the quarterback battle between junior Tom Bennewitz and senior Mike Fritz.
The quarterback who had the best afternoon, however, was the only one who didn't take a snap.
While freshman signal caller Jordan Kling was catching three passes for 26 yards and a touchdown, Bennewitz and Fritz were finishing the day right where they started.
