Optimist-Pessimist After Penn

Monday, Oct. 2
HANOVER -- Sensing he might have the upper hand this week, The Optimist invites The Pessimist to bat leadoff this week.

The Pessimist thinks The Optimist is crazy. He wonders if things have gotten so bad that the other guy thinks losing is OK.
The Optimist says he won't ever be happy with a loss -- unless it's a narrow defeat at the hands of, say, USC -- but 17-10 at Penn is pretty good.
