Day I Of The Ride - Briefly

Just got off the phone with Buddy Teevens from Brawley, Calif. After being up until 2 a.m. working on the bike and doing their "due diligence" with their hosts at breakfast Monday morning, Teevens and David Shula biked 115 hot miles before calling it a day. While they had more miles in them, the next lodging target was about 60 miles away in Blythe and the pair decided discretion was the better part of valor and called it a night.
