Teevens' Trip Getting Attention

Kirsten wants to know why people reading the blog keep offering to put Buddy up -- as opposed to riding with him.

"I'm begging people to go with him. Begging," she said. And then Kirsten asked me where I lived.

Friends: I can't find 'em all. (I've got to earn a living of some sort and this blog eats up way to much time that I should spend writing things that actually pay ... or driving a UPS van somewhere ... ;-) When you see something that deserves a nod here, please, please, please send a link. If one of the BGA blog's most loyal readers hadn't sent this along, I would have missed it. Heck, I did miss it. Thanks Go Green!

The blog, by the way, gets a mention in the above story. There was also a nice mention of the blog in yesterday's Manchester Union Leader that another subscriber was kind enough to bring to my attention.

The Princetonian has a piece about quarterback Jeff Terrell signing with the Kansas City Chiefs. ... The Harvard Crimson writes about tailback Clifton Dawson signing with the Indianapolis Colts and teammate Matt Farbotko, a tight end, being invited to a workout with the team.

Our friend Matt Dougherty of the SportsNetwork.com site that has a lengthy piece that features capsules of all the FCS draft choices.

The Cornell Sun writes about the top 10 freshman athletes at the school this year and includes Bryan Walters of the football team. Granted, the Sun reporters saw more of Cornell than I did, but I'd have been temped to include quarterback Stephen Liuzza on that list after he broke an 81-yard TD run against the Big Green.
