I'm not much of an auto racing fan and so I wasn't aware the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Sylvania 300 is being run Sunday at New Hampshire International Speedway, on the outskirts of Concord. An estimated 98,000 people will pack that stands for the race with 37,000 vehicles expected to be driven to the track (most from Massachusetts and points south it would seem).
If you are flying in for the Colgate game or coming up from the Boston area, traffic on I-93 could be an issue. It will be more of a concern if you are flying back out Sunday evening. In the past several lanes of I-93 northbound would be handed over to the southbound traffic at the conclusion of Sunday racing to expedite traffic. Qualifying and all that entails begins Friday. For the full schedule, check out the Boston Globe.
Just dug up the NH Department of Transportation traffic plan for the weekend. Find it here.
The Yale Daily writes about one of the few question areas on this year's edition of the Bulldogs: the wide receiving corps. ... The Daily Pennsylvanian writes about the annonymous Quaker longsnapper. ... The Daily P also has an interesting piece headlined Five Questions On Offense.
