HANOVER -- At the University of Florida in the mid 1990’s, Sammy McCorkle set the Gator record for single-season blocked punts and career blocked punts, twice winning the school’s special teams player-of-the-year award.
Now McCorkle has gone over to the dark side.
As a Dartmouth assistant, one of his responsibilities is to make sure that players like, well, like Sammy McCorkle don’t have success blocking punts and kicks.
As the Big Green’s special teams coordinator, you’d certainly expect him to be able to share a few secrets about getting to the kicker.
