Dartmouth-Yale Notes Posted

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Item: At least four times in Saturday’s 50-10 loss Dartmouth players had their helmets separated from their heads on teeth-rattling hits by Yale defenders.

Item: With 140 yards, the Big Green was credited with less than half the total offense it had in any of its previous three games this fall.

Item: A Dartmouth team that had allowed just one disputed sack in the first three games was sacked five times for a loss of 41 yards at Yale.

Add it up and it’s not a pretty picture but coach Buddy Teevens doesn’t think the stats -- or the numbers on the scoreboard -- should be interpreted as meaning Dartmouth was physically overmatched by the Bulldogs.
