“The only problem is they can score a touchdown in a minute. We’ll be on the bench drawing something up then you’ll hear, ‘Yayyyh!’ and the defense is back out there because they just went 70 yards in 50 seconds. I’ll joke with Dom during the game, ‘Take some more time off the clock.’ ”If you want to read about Dartmouth's field hockey game Wednesday, click here. And if you want to read the Dartmouth's preview of the football game against Holy Cross? If there is one, it's not posted on the web, so here's another quote from the Telegram, this time from HC coach Tom Gilmore:
“We’re not looking at 1-3. We’re looking at what we’ve seen on film. Like us, they’ve played a difficult schedule. They’re a lot better than their record.”The Ivy weekend preview in the Daily Pennsylvanian has the following to say in its look at the Dartmouth-Holy Cross game:
The Crusaders have pulled out a pair of tight wins over Harvard and Brown this year. But tomorrow's game against the Big Green doesn't look like it'll be one of them. You can take that both ways. It either means Holy Cross isn't going to win, or it isn't going to pull out a tight one. I think we both know what they are suggesting, which becomes clearer as you read on:

The Manchester Union Leader has a capsule of this weekend's game here.
Another edition of the New Haven Register's video Two-Minute Drill touches a little on the Dartmouth game and has a quick clip of the Big Green giving up a touchdown.
Yale will be playing a Lehigh team quarterbacked by Sedale Threatt Jr., Saturday. If the name is familiar, it's because his father was a long-time player in the NBA. The New York Times has a story about the young quarterback who, the Times story writes:
... was not sure exactly how many half brothers and half sisters he had. His mother, Nadine Jackson, said there might be as many as 14.
