The
Bloomberg.com story notes:
He played quarterback for the football team, which didn’t win a single game in his senior year, he said.
The
New York Times writes:
Since the 1980s, Dr. Kim’s career has been entwined with that of his medical school friend, Paul Farmer, the subject of Tracy Kidder’s popular book “Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, a Man Who Would Cure the World.”
An aside: I recently recommended "Mountains Beyond Mountains," to Dartmouth basketball co-captain (and lacrosse player) Robby Pride, who hopes to volunteer at a hospital in Costa Rica this summer. He's got even more reason to read the incredibly inspiring book now ;-)
