The Deseret News is reporting that Park City, Utah, quarterback Erik Walker, "has been offered by Dartmouth and Navy." The Salt Lake Tribune writes that, "Walker is one of the fastest players in the state," and that he is ...
"being recruited mostly as a defensive back, has also drawn interest from Oregon State, Army, Air Force and Utah. Walker was named Combine MVP and the Fastest Man at the National Underclassman Combine in Idaho last month ... .The paper says he "reportedly" ran a 4.36 in the 40 and has been, "clocked in the 4.5 range." The Deseret News says, "Walker seems primed for a huge season, having mastered Park City's option attack as a junior."
Telling quote from Walker's coach Brandon Matich:
"I look to Erik. I let Erik run our conditioning. I don't do anything with conditioning. Erik comes out and does conditioning. I'd give him the keys to my house and my car, and, heck, I'd trust him with my wife. He's that good of a person."Scout.com reports Walker ran for 1,051 yards and had 36 tackles with two interceptions last year.

Want a Casey Cramer autograph? If you are at the Tennessee Titans training camp on Aug. 13, he's on the autograph schedule along with four teammates (including one named David Ball, although this one is from UCLA not UNH). The autograph schedule, it says at the top of the announcement, is "subject to change," a smart thing during training camp. Find the Cramer mention here.
