And Still More

Cole Marcoux (still from NBC video)

In case you are wondering, Dartmouth commit Cole Marcoux completed 5-of-8 passes for 99 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion in less than a quarter of action in the U.S. Army All-American game.

If you missed it, the entire U.S. Army All-America Bowl can be seen on the NBC site.

If you just want to see the good stuff – the fourth quarter when Marcoux took center stage – you could click on the video below. (Admit it. You are jumping ahead, aren't you?)

Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.

From USA Today:
Prep quarterback Cole Marcoux, from Bronx, N.Y., won a TV reality show called The Ride to win a spot in NBC's U.S. Army All-American game Saturday — and threw two touchdowns in it. Marcoux, at least for now, is committed to Dartmouth.
And from MaxPreps under the headline, New York: Marcoux emerges as latest Bronx bomber:

Dartmouth has landed itself a heck of a quarterback prospect if Saturday’s development is any indication.
The message boards have been humming about Marcoux (see yesterday's blog). Here's a post from the Louisiana Tech board:
This Cole Marcoux kid has TONS of potential.

Wow! committed to Dartmouth???? Are you kidding me! The throws he made in that all-star game, which I happened to watch, shows he should be considering a bigger program. Tremendous talent with loads of potential.
Today's Daily Dartmouth has a column about progress being made by the Dartmouth football program. It quotes coach Buddy Teevens this way:
“If I’m an average guy reading the paper and saw the win-loss record, I’d say why did we hire him in the first place?. Get rid of him.”
Another story in The D addresses the resignation of men's basketball coach Terry Dunn.

A fire caused significant damage to the Phi Delta Alpha fraternity house, but no one was injured. The Daily Dartmouth has a story.
