Moglia, Beattie in the News

A couple of familiar names have made career moves.

Former Dartmouth assistant (and CEO of TD Ameritrade) Joe Moglia will return to Nebraska next fall in a volunteer capacity according to the Associated Press. From the story:
Moglia says he was a finalist for the U.S. Olympic Committee's top job and for the football coaching opening at Princeton but didn't land either job.

Moglia offers career counseling and leadership advice to Nebraska's players in return for the opportunity to learn from the coaches.
Also, former Dartmouth baseball and basketball standout Jim Beattie, whose name is frequently raised with regard to the athletic director position at his alma mater, is returning to baseball as a scout with the Toronto Blue Jays according to the Baltimore Sun. Beattie was the general manager of the Montreal Expos from 1989-95 and most recently was a vice president with the Baltimore Orioles.
