Seattle QB Heading to Hanover

From Scout.com:
Scout.com learned Monday that Andy Gay, a 6-foot-4 (200 pound quarterback) from Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Wash. has verbally committed to Dartmouth.
The Seattle-area quarterback's college preferences are listed on this Scout.com page along with confirmation of his "verbal" commitment. News of his official visit last week was carried on this Enterprise newspaper page.

Gay completed 145-of-243 passes (59.4 percent) for 2,138 yards and 19 touchdowns with five interceptions last fall. He also ran for 101 yards. (link)

His best game might have been his first when he completed 24-of-30 passes for 342 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. He led Jackson to a 10-0 record before a 48-28 loss to Issaquah in the first round of the playoffs. Gay was the quarterback MVP at Jason Gesser's NW Elite Football Camp in Seattle this summer. Interestingly, he has worked with Tom Brady quarterback coach Tom Martinez, who also worked with Dartmouth quarterback recruit Cole Marcoux. Gay and Martinez talk about the work they did together in this video.

MaxPreps and CBS College Sports analyst Tom Lemming's comments on Gay can be found here. Among other things, he writes:
He impresses you with his arm, accuracy and knowledge of the game. He shows good feet in the pocket, he can scramble and throws very well while on the run.
His Rivals page is here.

Gay's mid-senior season highlights can be found here, and his "skill" video can be found here. He was selected Athlete of the Week on KING TV5 in Seattle in September and that video can be seen here. There's a one-on-one video interview with him after his junior year here.
