Ivy League FB Honor Roll

Quarterback Conner Kempe and punter Daniel Barstein named to the Ivy League honor roll for their parts in Dartmouth's win over Columbia Saturday.

Kempe completed 24-of-37 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. He also ran for 16 yards.

Barstein punted twice for an average of 52.5 yards. His 61-yarder to the Columbia 1 in the third quarter "turned the field around."

Kempe had to have been a strong candidate for offensive player of the week. His stats weren't far off those of Brown QB Joe Springer, who shared the honor with Harvard tailback Gino Gordon, and the number hardly tell the full story for the Big Green quarterback, who cooly engineered the gamewinning TD down the stretch with the game on the line.
