Here's the 'Storey'

Incoming quarterback Charlie Storey is featured with a small writeup and posed picture in the (Massachusetts) Patriot-Ledger's "All-Scholastics" piece. The writeup starts this way:
Returning Ledger All-Scholastic’s senior stats (298 yards rushing; 536 yards passing) came with a big asterisk as the 6-2 quarterback missed half the season with an injury ... Was dynamic as a junior when he ran for 981 yards (9.3-yard average) and passed for 551.
Here's what Dartmouth coach Buddy Teevens had to say about Storey in Green Alert Premium:
“We see him as a quarterback/athlete. He would like an opportunity at the quarterback position, which he played at Milton Academy. He’s also open to a positional switch as a free safety or receiver. We feel he could help similar to a Will Deevy or Timmy McManus. He’s a very, very athletic guy with good speed who was a productive quarterback and Milton Academy.”

Former Dartmouth assistant Joe Moglia is a popular guy on the rubber chicken circuit. The head coach of the United Football League's Virginia Destroyers will give a speech tomorrow at the President's Kickoff Luncheon for the American Football Coaches Association convention in Dallas. From a UFL release:
The former Dartmouth Defensive Coordinator will explain how he reestablished himself in the world of college football by joining the University of Nebraska staff as an Executive Advisor to the Head Football Coach. In the business world, both at TD Ameritrade and at Merrill Lynch, Moglia has led, strategized, and executed world-class plans in an extraordinary way for almost two decades on a national and global scale.

It was a great weekend for recruiting visits in Hanover. Beautiful "Department store" snow, not too cold, campus absolutely humming with the Dartmouth Relays, a terrific crowd for Harvard basketball yesterday afternoon and a win over Brown on Thompson Arena ice last night.
