An All-Bay League selection as a defensive back as a sophomore and a junior, Sasso made his biggest splash this year in the offensive backfield, carrying 262 times for 1,649 yards and 20 touchdowns according to MaxPreps. He topped 200 yards twice, including one game when he ran 19 times for 255 yards, a 13.4-yard average.
As a senior Sasso was a Daily Breeze All-Area and All-CIF Southern Section pick at running back and the 2010 All-Bay League offensive player of the year.
