Recruiting Update

¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Here's the full incoming list of football "recruits" broken down by position. For what it is worth, players are listed at the positions where they are likely to line up at the start of camp, not where they may ultimately play. ... Several names on the list are admitted students who have indicated the intention to play football but were not recruited. ... Heights and weights are drawn from Internet reports and other sources and will surely be adjusted once camp begins.

Could the New Hampshire East-West all-star game to benefit Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) lead to the end of the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl, traditionally played at Dartmouth's Memorial Field? Possibly. Find a story here.

And finally, remember that note last week about how the pump that delivers water from our well went kaput up here on Moose Mountain?

It's fixed ... and I'm broke.

The bill came in yesterday and it was a shocker. But what are you going to do? You've got to have water. Speaking of which, did I ever tell you about my first cross-country bicycle ride when I ran out of water in the desert?
