Going For The Gold


Former Dartmouth defensive end Charles Bay (91) and the US National Team will play for the gold medal at the world championships in Austria Saturday thanks to a 17-7 win over Mexico. The game can be viewed at 5 p.m. at this link.

The United States will play the winner of the game between unbeaten Canada and unbeaten Japan.

Bay gets a mention in the game story about the win over Mexico for a sack. He finished with two solo tackles, two assists, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry in addition to the sack for a loss of 15 yards.

Colgate's "Raider Chat" with linebacker Chris DiMassa offers some insights to the team Dartmouth will face in the Sept. 17 opener on Memorial Field. DiMassa says:
I don't think it is a secret that there is a lot of anticipation for the upcoming season from players, coaches and even alumni. The good thing is that we all realize we have a great team this year and that we can really do some special things if we stay on track.
