More Bio Updates

Senior bios continue to be updated on the Dartmouth football site. Find current information there on linebackers Luke Hussey, Ben Magnus, Tyler Melancon and Alex Shulman, offensive linemen Brock Middleton, Ryan O'Neill, Grant Palmer and Zach Wodka, defensive linemen Connor Phillips and Eddie Smith, quarterback Dan Rooney, receiver Michael Reilly and placekicker Foley Schmidt.

The Any Given Saturday message board takes on a ranking of the Ivy League stadiums. If all you want is pictures, there's a representative selection of photos from the Ivy facilities posted on the second page of the thread.

During a dry run of the Green Alert podcast last week one of the points brought up in a look around the Ivy League was that the receiving corps might be a question area for two-time defending champion Penn this fall. The Quakers have taken a step toward addressing any concerns there with the addition of a transfer receiver from Texas Tech. The Daily Pennsylvanian blog has a story.

Five Sacred Heart players were named to the Phil Steele preseason All-Northeast Conference team. (link) Dartmouth plays the Pioneers in Week Two.

Not sure there's much new there yet but the 2011 Harvard football media center is up.

The 25th anniversary Patriot League football team has been named. Two of the more prominent honorees who Dartmouth remembers only too well: Colgate quarterback Ryan Vena and Holy Cross back Gordie Lockbaum. The PL has a story about what they are doing now and another page with the honorees' reactions.

Regarding yesterday's photos of the lights being installed at Memorial Field, not to worry about sightlines. There won't be any poles blocking your view of the action.
